The QSC K8 is a top of the line, lightweight 1000 watt, 8inch powered loudspeaker. QSC’s team of amplifier engineers have created a new standard in Class D power modules unparalleled in the industry. Next, breaking from the traditional loudspeaker paradigm, every model is fitted with the identical 1.75inch HF device (full range models) and woofers of the same high quality for unparalleled performance, regardless of speaker size.
Extensive DSP processing is employed throughout, providing levels of sonic clarity and total output that defy the system’s size and weight.
Premium-grade materials, advanced construction processes and multiple mounting and suspension options allow for a wide range of live and installed applications.
QSC cater for many connection scenarios with XLR as standard, 1/4inch TRS inputs at Microphone or line level and an additional set of PCA phono inputs to accommodate MP3 players, CD players and line-level mixers. Up to three units can be simultaneously connected and mixed internally to a balanced output for “daisy-chaining” multiple speakers.

EQUIPMENT – SET-UP & PACK-DOWN
When you hire from us you can select to use our Setup Service and have us set up the equipment for you. The equipment will be set up in the most efficient manner to suit the event. Total Setup service time cannot exceed half an hour, this is ample time for our trained technician to set up the equipment in a suitable manner for the event. For customised set ups an additional charge of $49 per 30 minutes will apply. Customised set up usually applies to situations were cable runs are long and require extensive labour to conceal and “make safe”. If you require a band set up, you will need to book an operator as this type of set up requires higher qualified technician. Note that Sunday labour incurs an additional charge, please contact us to obtain a quote on Sunday labour.
