The Logitech Connect is our webcam / speakerphone for small huddle rooms, single users or small groups.
The unit it’s self is cylindrical with camera, microphones and speaker all inbuilt. It comes with a magnetic remote that docks neatly as a part of the main unit and includes a rechargeable battery that allows up to 3 hours of use as can by deployed on the go with minimal fuss. Of course it can also be powered from the mains power for a more traditional setup.
To get started, hold down the power button to turn it on, then press the mode button on the tip of the cylinder. Your choices include Bluetooth, and video conferencing through USB. To use video conferencing mode, you need to connect the tower to your PC’s USB port (the unit supports Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Mac OS X 10.7 or later). Any drivers required should install automatically.
The Logitech Connect is compatible with all major conferencing applications including Zoom, Skype, Teams and a whole host of others. When you launch your application you should be ables to select ConferenceCam as your preferred device for Camera, microphone and Audio Output.
The Logitech Connect’s included remote includes full volume control as well as a mute button. It also includes Camera control of Zoom, Pan & Tilt. You can also initiate or hang up a call directly for the remote control.
To use the device as a Bluetooth speaker, simply hold down the Bluetooth button at the top and then choose it on the device you wish to connect. It will certainly produce high quality reproduction of sound from your laptop or mobile device for presentations on the go.
